Are there ALWAYS "preconnected hose lines" at EV charging stations just waiting for the inevitable?
An electric Jeep Wrangler? Sacrilege!
Of course it did.
Big Energy is nothing to fool with.
Flux Capacitors notwithstanding.
And no toxic smoke or chemicals were introduced into the atmosphere.
Like a gas car fire does.
Doesn't look like it was just water in that line.
I'm more interested in the mobile barbershop in the Google parking lot.
I will stick with my 20 yr old Jeep. The new ones are tin cans.
Elon can increase Tesla sales, by sending out EV death squads that make other EVs catch fire at recharge stations.
Another fine invention that we can think the Nazis for.
They should go outside and breath deep. Those chemicals they smell from that inferno, well that’s just cleaning mother earth.
Indeed.
“Jerry” cans rule.
I have 24 of the Plastic variety from over 20 years ago.
Mostly used to store Diesel.
So it was just a sneaky way of taking out a couple Teslas?
Under the liberal creepozoid TDS mindset, the Jeep Company should get credit for taking out two Teslas!
C’mon, Man!
Not with foam.
On the engine, preconnects are lines that we pull that are already connected to the pump. Generally speaking, a crew can pull a line (150-200’), be at the door/vehicle, mask up, before the engine is connected to a hydrant, the PTO on, and the line charged.
My guess is they heard the firefighters taking about pulling a preconnect.
Booster line, the hard red hose on a reel, are preconnected too.
Oversized electric golf cart fanbois not pleased at the exposure.
Maybe they could install a permanent fire sprinkler system.
I always would ask myself what kind of idiot would buy a brand new OVER-PRICED Stellantis/Peugeot/Fiat/Chrysler Wrangler.
Now i wonder what type of complete idiot would buy a over priced electric one...To what end?
Got money to burn? OK then.
Wranglers are meant for off road but 99% of the buyers keep them strictly ON ROAD.
Can be cool driving during the summer months with the doors and roof off but whatever....buy a ‘79 and fix it up.
Stupidest vehicles ever..
I had a ‘76 CJ7 with cloth doors and rag top. It was so much fun with the doors off and the top off (or down). There wasn’t much room to store the doors and top in the CJ, so I’m leave them behind at home. During the 6 months dry time in California, there was almost no chance of any rain catching me with the top-down.
I spent time with a neighbor a few years ago watching him completely replace the suspension, brakes, rims and tires with beefed up replacements on a Red 1979 or so base model Wrangler.
It was fun, relatively cheap and looked really rugged when done.
Cool vehicle to blast around in with the roof and doors off and it didn’t cost him a Fortune to buy brand new.
