“We understand that this will be difficult for people who simply want to play the game they love in the gender by which they identify, and we are contacting the registered transgender women currently playing to explain the changes and how they can continue to stay involved in the game,” the organizing body for soccer in Britain said in a statement.

But no one was preventing male soccer players from having their genitals snipped off, announcing to the world that they were now "women," and yet continuing to play in men's soccer teams.

The only problem was that these fake women insisted upon playing with team-mates and against other teams consisting of true, biological women.

An obvious decision after they got permission from the UK Supreme Court. I’m sure they wanted to do this, but they were afraid of being thrown in prison if they even just said they were thinking of doing this.

Maybe the US Supreme Court will take a hint and start making sense.
