This couple had a baby and 3 pit bulls. Now they are wondering why their baby is dead. It should be illegal to be this stupid.

Your pet pit bull can’t kill your baby if you don’t have a pet pit bull.

I don't trust pit bulls. My best friend and his wife have a pit bull. They also have a five-year-old daughter and a much smaller dog. I've never told him but it scares the hell out of me that someday the pit is going to go bad.

And my next door neighbor has two pit bulls. He lets them play off the leash when he's outdoors with them. I have a miniature dachshund who I can't take outside hardly at all anymore out of fear of the pits.

They should gracefully become an extinct breed.

There on all the insurance company lists of dogs you can’t have, along with Rottweilers, Chou-Chou’s, German Shepherds, Dobermans. I’m probably missing a couple breeds. Therefore they are listed in our rental agreements with tenants.

Actuaries don’t get these dogs on lists for no reasons.

I grew up with German shepherds.
My aunt had Dobermans,
And I’ve owed a lot of mutts between now and then.

Terrible what happened to that poor child.
But you don’t take dogs bred to kill big animals
and leave them alone with kids.
Once those animals “turn on” even adults have
difficulty controlling them.

Pit bulls are dogs bred to kill big animals.

They dont recognize babies as precious humans.

Perhaps the baby made an accidental or inadvertent move that
threatened the dog, and the pit did what it was bred to do.....kill.

Same exact thing happened to someone a few blocks away: they stated letting the baby sleep overnight in the family’s python cage - the snakes had always been docile up to that point - and I’ll be damned: one night one of the snakes ate the baby! Who can predict these things?

“Rottweilers”
My cousin had a Rottweiler, Bull mastiff mix.
About 150# dog.
I loved that dog but Cuz would not sell it to me.
I had younger kids in my house.
Secret to dogs is show no fear and carry a gun.
You don’t do stupid cop stuff, give the dog second or so to figure out something is very wrong,
unless you have a trained dog most will stand down,
they don’t have a clue what a pistol is.
but they know when the fear they smell is mixed with
adrenaline.

I’ve had several Border Collies and Labs. My grandkids played with them but not before they were older. My one border collie wouldn’t let anyone scold the kids. I think she considered them part of her herd. I wouldn’t leave the kids alone unsupervised with my dogs. I trust both those breeds but as Reagan said “trust but verify “ . I always took that to mean be with the kids, when they’re with the dogs. Some people shouldn’t have animals. IMO. Regards

Parents that unaware of the dangers involved with 3 pitbulls and an infant would probably have put the child in other dangerous situations. Either before the pits snapped or with other dangerous situations.
Parents need to be charged with negligent manslaughter.

Well snakes only need to eat once every few weeks. That would explain why it waited so long.

Border collies are the safest dogs to have.

When I was younger I slept with my parents German shepherds,
outside in the yard(nap time). They weren’t allowed in the house.
All animals have their “quirks”.
My wife’s Great Danes want to be “Lapdogs”
My Donkey will follow you anywhere given the chance.
Can you imagine a 450# donkey coming in to your living
room, wanting a carrot?
I live in very rural Hawaii and most my animals free roam.
