I recall a depressing incident when I had met a new neighbor. I have a small optical observatory I built on my property. After speaking with him for a while I invited him to see it. While inside I was explaining the design and why it was built the way it was and how it could be remotely operated from inside the home. At that point he proceeded to tell me he believed the world is flat. He must have seen me recoil when he said that. I tired hard not to look at him like he was raving lunatic. I'm thinking, this neighborly dialog is over and how do I get flat earth boy on his way. Wowza.

That's one of the reasons why I now like being an independent recluse. I see public education as little more than indoctrination camps run by people with really bad agendas. Very disturbing.

When I was much younger, 40-50 years ago, I never agreed with the democrats, but I did have some respect for them. The jkf types as an example. They were indeed Americans but with a different viewpoint.

These days I view the democrats as a party of lying psychopaths, intent upon political power, with all of its many perks, at any cost. They are dangerous. They should be feared. They must be defeated if we are to survive as a free nation.
