The one thing the city government does try to do is protect tourists. The locals can shoot, stab, and incinerate locals and commuters or push them in front of subway trains - peasants be damned.

South Korea (a fifty year long overdue revisit), Japan (outside of Toykyo and including Okinawa), Estonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and a revisit to Iceland, plus a visit to the Basque area of Spain and a visit to Israel.
Not really interested in seeing anything else.
I have seen the U.K., France, Belgium, Netherlandds, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Iceland, and spent time many years ago in South Korea with brief visits around Tokyo.
