As an American citizen I lived and worked in the UK for several years. I intended to stay there but the North Sea Oil business collapsed in 1982-1983. I went home and to school again to become a pharmacist. My son was born there and is a dual national. I bought my home there. I intended to stay. I would have fought for the UK as I considered it my second country of allegiance, I was young then. The UK is lost today, if young I would not fight for them.
