It’s fun to watch all the deep state bureaucrats with FR membership crawl out of their ratholes and insist that Trump can’t fire federal workers without doing a somersault through some obscure and meaningless “rule” or bowing to a fascist judge.

“Probationary employees are the lifeblood of our government.. That is how we renew ourselves.”

I can see that. Busting their hump until the probationary period ends and the real senicure begins. Agencies are free to kick out genuine deadbeats and keep the exemplary among the probationary it they want.

This has been standard practice forever in government employment.

It’s called a RIF. Reduction In Force. The Newest employees are the first to be let go.

I don’t remember them even stating the reason for it other than it had to do with budget concerns.

BAN THAT JUDGE FROM USING ALL U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, PROPERTIES, FORMS OF COMMUNICATIONS, AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS.

I bet you say that to all the judges.

Assuming the employees have any remedy available under the MSPB, wouldn’t that mean the case was improperly before the District Court as they had not exhausted their available administrative remedies?

Correct.

A couple of judges already tossed cases on that basis.
