The hoax of the “mass graves” is still floated around and believed by some people on Facebook. Much like the lie that the tribes were taught to scalp by the White Man when evidence shows they were scalping each other since 400 AD.
Then there is the hoax of the “Smallpox blankets”. Some people just WANT to feel guilty of something and will glom onto anything.
