Except people will cut back on dining at restaurants. Then there will be less money to tax and more busted businesses. Leftists are braindead.

Ha! From the article:

“Sponsors said the bill aims to address the unintended consequences of a 2019 law that allowed local governments to establish minimum wages above the state threshold.”

Just imagine the unintended consequences from the new bill!

In an unrelated note, over 50% of Denver's restaurants will be closing in the first quarter after the passage of this ordinance.

Everyone on this forum knows I cannot stop crapping on Yale grads whether it is Billy Buckley, the Clintons, the Boy Georges named Bush, Frenchy Kerry, McGeorge Bundy chief architect of the Vietnam war, or JD Vance.

But you guessed it this Mike Johnston clown graduated from Yale with a degree in philosophy and went on to Harvard in “education” where he worked with Al Gore’s education advisor.

So who better to fix the business model of ailing restaurants in downtown Denver than this dude.

Well, as long as it’s not inflationary, Denver restaurant customers should be able to pay the additional charge. A small price to pay for all of the benefits of living in Utopia. /s

The power to tax is the power to destroy. Denver restaurants will be closing in droves.

Our National organization quit scheduling Chicago because of the excessive tax on the hotels and convention center.

That will definitely solve the problem.
Run all restaurants out of business and employee’s tips and wages won’t be an issue at all.

DemonRats destroy everything they touch.
