In case you are worried about the predicament of the EV owners in Iran——
The domestic car industry is mostly owned by the state.
In the last two years, for instance, not a single electric vehicle (EV) has been imported into Iran. And, since 2021, only 15,000 low-consumption cars have been imported, instead of the promised 300,000. Even fuel-efficient new vehicles or hybrid models have not been imported.
Iran’s state owned auto industry produced approximately 1.2 million vehicles in 2023, all of which were gasoline powered.

The 2nd part of that vid focuses on the Houthi missile strike on Israel. It was intercepted but the damage to the school it fell on was considerable. I wonder just how big that missile was?
The problem in the US is hardly a lack of domestic spending, which far exceeds our spending on proxy wars. A pretty good argument can be made that most of our domestic spending is actually harmful.
