Thanks for posting. Smart business decision.
NY will have to pass a Law saying you can’t close ever you must provide reparations for all who want them
CVS closed a handful of stores in Boston for same reason without saying that that was the reason. Liz Warren took the opportunity to pontificate and vilify. She’s rich, she can take over the stores and be responsible for profit and loss.
bump
Let them open a pharmacy co-op funded through Democrats' pocketbooks.
Directive 10-289
Don’t give them any ideas.
And on a related note, San Francisco recently passed an ordinance requiring grocery stores to give six months notice before closing.
See? The problem is not the out of control thievery. It’s those sneaky store owners closing without giving notice.
“Stores still open in safe communities that are sitting ducks for high crime.”
And, if not?
Are they going to deny them a business license? >D
They don’t have to close. Just have new operating hours like 3 to 4AM
That’s a good question. I just did a quick check. I couldn’t find any mention of a penalty for violating the regulation I mentioned in post #9. But I’d bet it’s a fine of some sort. And maybe even…
More destruction of America from Biden/Harris..... Message? - “screw the American citizens!”
The ordinance will require grocery stores larger than 20,000 square feet to give six months’ written notice to the director of the city’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Customers must also be notified through signs posted at exits and entrances at the business at least six months in advance. The grocery store owner must then meet with Office of Economic and Workforce Development personnel to try to find ways to remain open and keep selling groceries at the location.
The owner must also hold at least one community meeting hosted by a nonprofit neighborhood association, city department or official. That meeting would help residents plan for the store’s closure by either instructing them how to form a co-op or identify another grocer that could be a viable replacement.
Or it's doubleplus ungood.
I once talked at length with a pharmacist who was closing the store he ran in Cleveland. Besides being held up several times at gun point for drugs, he said the theft was breaking him, and most of it was his own employees.
Sadly, we’ve reached a condition in this country, for America to flourish, NY City in its present organization and government, will need to be destroyed.
My Dad grew up in a Polish-German neighborhood of a big blue Northeastern city nearly a century ago.
We would take him and the grandkids to "see the old neighborhood" but could only do it at 7AM. The thugs and yutes were finally in bed by that time.
Is it them Yogi?
president hairass has that directive ready to go.
