The town administrator is on the purchasing committee and is ADA coordinator.
“What kind of screw worms run that town?”
It’s in the Berkshire Mountains in Western Mass, inhabited by Loony Liberals. Stupid is as Stupid does!
What a groovy idea for my projector. Got a nice water tower in town that’d do nicely.

Hanson is 20 miles south of Boston. Nowhere near the Berkshires

” They don’t have a right to project onto either public property”
Why? It is just light. It does no harm, damages nothing, and the town does something more stupid by projecting a light oi the tower to try to drown out the other light.
Time to buy this guy a stronger projector.
Would/Will be an interesting case. Not sure there is any law against projecting onto private or public property. If it is litigated, almost anyone could sue for any light passing from one property to the other.
Just make Trump letters solid and backlit. Like casting a shadow using the letters. That would really piss um off.
They fined the guy for shining a light on a water tower.
They have no sense of humor
Or BLM in front of Trump Tower in NYC.
He could offer to project Harris/Walz imagery on the tower during the 12 hours of daylight (when more folks are awake to enjoy the spectacle).
Or split the night display time 6 PM-midnight Trump/Vance, midnight-6 AM Harris/Walz.
There is nothing in the bylaws about projected images, just physical signs. I am not a lawyer, but it appears the projection meets the safety regulations for lighted signs by not flashing or moving, and not emulating traffic signals. Technically it is not “attached” to any public property.
Seems to me like they’ll have to amend their bylaws to address this issue, and until they do, there’s not actually a violation.
My 2 cents

"Don’t forget the unicorns!"
Time to send multiple projectors so more buildings can be lit up in that town. Let roving gangs of projector artists share their talents in different areas of town.
Classic case of projection.
Massachusetts is full of hypocrites. First they burned witches because of religious freedom, they were one of the first states to advocate secession when things in the Federal government didn’t suit them, then they imported slaves and told the South it was unethical to own them, then the advocated integration of the schools for Southern states but when they were forced to integrate and bus they threw shit fits.
