Yes! And it should be the Legal “System” (i.e. courts, judges and lawyers) that bear the brunt of any judgments.

Meaning if Joe Smith sues the “Legal System (could be the bar in each state or a LLC owned by the lawyers)” and the “Legal System” loses, the “system has funds on hand to pay the judgment.

How so you say? Each attorney and judge posts a bond of $100,000 with his/her state bar, that’s how.

And, venue for any such case against the “lawyers” should be permitted to be set in any contiguous state.....plaintiff’s choice. This will not eliminate politics and corruption but it will reduce it.

Attorney’s and judges love to impose bonds on the rest of the world when they screw up. It’s only fair that the lawyers have to do the same.

In any event, our legal system has become so utterly rotten and corrupt and third world and protected by arcane rules and laws and practices that have glommed on to the system over 300 years that it’s way past time to level the playing field.

“Brilliant response! I would also have charged them double the usual!”

Well, that goes without saying. 8-)
