In the words of Vladimir Putin, long-range strikes in Russia “will mean that NATO countries — the United States and European countries — are at war with Russia.”

Russia can't beat some small country right next to them, in an almost solely-offensive special military operation. He knows he can't do anything in a real war where Russia will be almost 100% in a defensive posture, so he's not gonna declare war on anyone else. He's not that dumb.

So what's the difference between Western countries letting hit Russia back, and Russia providing Korea or Vietnam all sorts of of AA and other support?
