Here in Atlanta its like an infestation. You are a stranger in a strange land at the grocery store. More showing up every week.
I guess I’m relatively lucky that where I live the infestation is folks from India.
We’ve got it all here. Giant areas being taken over by the Indians in Northern suburbs. In our area in Gwinnett County we get it all. Indians, latinos, Muslims and now the new Africans are showing up.
We were up at our rural compound this week and even though we got into a shoot out with our neighbors I dreaded coming back to Gwinnett. They may be ignernt red necks that needed a little pushback but at least they’re Americans. 😆
In Orlando all the cashiers, CSRs, and waiters are “bilingue”.
Most are PRs, so that their English is often better than their Spanish.
