He was a great student - Princeton/Harvard educated - with a Military state of mind. He will be a fantastic, high energy, Secretary of Defense Defense, one who leads with charisma and skill. JUST IN: J.D. Vance says as soon as he and Trump assume office, the residents of western North Carolina impacted by hurricane damage will get relief they’re not receiving from the Biden administration.

Vance says he wants to enable residents to put mobile homes in a floodplain - which isn’t allowed. But most of these areas ARE floodplains... so people have to move hundreds of miles if they can’t get a waiver.
