I think you are correct.
Very “series” blunder on my part.
Had some of these shenanigans going on in South Florida until Governor DeSantis got elected......and that almost didn’t happen BECAUSE of a couple of a couple of activist democrat election supervisors.
Once Governor DeSantis terminated their asses the issues mysteriously went away.
Happy to hear Governor Abbott is getting hold of it.
Their website says the county has 16% of the state population.
As a Texan, this makes my heart sing. Yay, Ken Paxton.
Harris County has been a fraud machine for 40 years. Houston hasn’t had a republican mayor since Rodney Ellis started stinking up the scene in 1982.
Harris County has also been a hotbed of corruption. The county Judge is now under a new bid rigging investigation even as three of her staffers sit under indictment for bid rigging Covid relief.
Thankfully Governor Abbott’s SOS has taken over control of Harris County elections. Watch for a surprising result this year.

series? a typo? i guess that truly is FR lore...
d’oh!
Correct. The 5 biggest counties in TX encompassing Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin and San Antonio total about 14.4 million people according to last census. That's just shy of 50% of the state total. The rest of the state is very red.
Controlling the fraud in those 5 counties is the key to keeping the Texas red.
This is really bad news for Colin Allred.
It was supposed to be “huge and serious”
I believe it was Jim Robinson himself who made the typo in posting an article, probably about Bush v Gore.
Morphed into a meme with a manatee exploding like the Hindenburg
“Oh the hugh manatee!”
Clearly been here too long.
This worked extremely well in Florida when Palm Beach County received the intervention.
My sister-in-law voted by mail in the last presidential election in Harris County, and her vote was never tabulated. Guess which party she voted for.
oh the hugh manatee...
yes, those were the days...
tthanks for the history lesson, and in FR fashion, i only read the headline.
take care buddy.

I’m surprised the DOJ doesn’t send troops to prevent Texas from policing its own elections. Maybe they will.
Abbott policing Harris County vote fraud and Paxton going after illegal alien voter registration is really good news.
The vote during the primary was illustrative: Ted had 1.6 million votes, the combined Democrat was less than 800K.
I predict Abbott will do the same thing in Austin, Dallas, Houston and El Paso. I don’t think he will in Ft. Worth.
One way or another, Texas will have an honest election (I define “honest” these days as above 95%) in November 24.
It would seem this takes TX off the table for the Dems to try to steal.
Just another reason why the wheels are coming off the Harris train?
“This worked extremely well in Florida when Palm Beach County received the intervention.”
Remember when Broward County, Florida was always the last to report, had the most irregularities and corruption and no one would do anything about it. I believe it was Rick Scott who finally did something about Brenda Snipes (who had perfected the fraud over the years).
Then DeSantis further cleaned up the election problems in the state (he suspended Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher for malfeasance and incompetence). And low and behold the election returns started being reported not long after the polls closed, there were no more “found” ballots in cars or closets and the GOP started winning elections.
