I believe that the partisan press did their part for Hillary, but even the Deep State didn’t want her. Everyone knew she was going to push the button.
Even assuming those are dream numbers and an opening for negotiation, that’s depression territory taxation. I would never buy another piece of investment real estate.
Though my scheme of buying a rental home, seasoning it, converting it to my principal residence, then selling at a non-taxed profit and repeating the process would still be in play. Done it twice, it’s golden.
