Polls are showing an undeniable shift toward Kamala Harris

Walz is telegraphing what they want to do. For example tampons in boys’ bathrooms and carbon tax. But they will say they are “moderate.” Walz is evil but seems to be more skillful at public speaking than Kamala.

There’s never been a presidential debate before the nominees were locked in.
Trump and the media pushed that one. Not Biden.

So that argument is moot. I think the media wanted biden out. There’s no other explanation that even comes close to making sense.
And I don’t mean the Dem power players. I think they would’ve weekend at Bernies” him all the way to the election.

Notice after the debate, who was pushing at first. It was only the media. Stephanopoulos even told how they would do push him out in the Biden interview.
Go back and watch.
He named the people who would start pressuring him.
And it went down exactly like that.

The power players were scrambling as the media exerted more pressure on them to do something.
Because they knew the media wasn’t covering for him any longer.

If Trump loses, In a few years, maybe sooner, we’ll look back and that will be considered one of the biggest political blunders of all time.

Mark my words right here.

No need dwelling on it now, but geez we need to be smarter.
Democrats are reaching for the independents, firing up their base (which they DESPERATELY needed), And giving swing voters a place to land.
Republicans only seem focused on firing up one portion of the base, which is already the part solidly in our corner and would walk through fire to vote for Trump.
We need to focus on the rest of base, not piss them off. And we need to be going after independents and swings and WOMEN, several of whom are “childless cat ladies”. It’s forced errors like that make us unappealing.

People vote mostly when they’re
1. Excited/optimistic
2. Fearful

Any campaigning at this point that doesn’t scratch one of those 2 itches, is a waste of time or risks hurting us.

Trump rallies are amazing but they don’t get independents/ swings in significant numbers. 90%of people there are already going to vote for Trump. Keep the rallies but the messaging there could be tweaked to reach the voters we’re seeking then blasted by Trump team in sound bites to rest of the world.

Bold, brave and courageous is good but useless if there’s strategy or wisdom.

You’ve also been on FR long enough to know not to belittle yourself with name calling.
Grow up.

Trump has got the macho man vote.
Unfortunately he needs a lot more than that.
And I didn’t say one thing about him about him curling up and being afraid. That came from your imagination.
The only people right now who think that debate in June was the best thing to happen in the 2024 campaign is Democrats and the tough guys who lose their minds if anyone dares make a suggestion on our side of how we can improve our game and actually WIN in November.
And of course he slayed that debate. That’s not a flex. A first grader who could make a coherent sentence would have slayed next to biden who had no media protection.
Any benefit gained from the debate is now lost.
Blather on if you must but the rest of us understand how elections work AND can do math. The last thing anyone on our side should be doing is calling people who may be fence sitting, vile names. It’s almost like you want to lose.
