“The administrators wanted a scape-goat and Lethby was it.”
ROTFLMAO! The administrator tried to cover it up!
“and was assigned the sickest babies.”
All that died were expected to live. They weren’t sick.
“Wow very interesting post.”
Biased BS.
Did you read this?
“I don’t deserve to live. I killed them on purpose because I’m not good enough to care for them,”
“I am a horrible evil person”
“I am evil I did this.”
This?
“The administrators wanted a scape-goat and Lethby was it.”
Just the opposite:
Dr. Stephen Brearey, the head consultant at the Countess of Chester Hospital’s neonatal unit, told the Guardian newspaper that deaths could arguably have been avoided as early as February 2016 if executives had “responded appropriately” to an urgent meeting request from concerned doctors.
“If this was the US she would be allowed to keep appealing”
In parts of the US she would be on death row.
Sounds like when Legionnaire’s Disease broke out in a well-established old Philadelphia hotel, causing the hotel soon to go under. It was in the water or HVAC system, IIRC.
I’ve seen a lot of nasty stuff about British hospitals from legitimate British News sources.
“Sounds like when Legionnaire’s Disease broke out “
Interesting it only broke out when she was on shift affecting her patients ...
what does “fairly attractive, smiling young woman” have to do with anything?....you mean if she was plain/ugly and not smiling it would make her guilty?.....

During the last few years of Hugh Hefner’s life, his mansion had deteriorated, and the “Grotto” was swimming with legionnaire’s disease. I’m sure that’s not the worst thing that was in the water.
I have to plead ‘guilty’ for occasionally judging a book by the cover, especially when I’m quickly scrolling through various articles. I probably should have stated it differently.
I’ve never read any interview with her making personally damning statements about the deaths. I usually only see what the prosecution has concluded. I’ve not ever heard anything resembling defense. Perhaps I have overlooked those particular articles. I don’t spend a lot of time reading the ongoing, local stories on the British sites.
