“I wonder if the US has a counselor position in Greenland or maybe Guernsey Islands? Even President Trump could offer her that to show some bipartisanship.”

Haiti would be perfect.

> what exactly are her qualifications? <

The exact same ones that got her appointed a professor at Columbia University. In other words, no qualifications at all except for her last name.

Side note: Chelsea is still a professor there. Last time I checked, her university biography listed no courses being taught, no office hours, and no grad students being mentored.

Professor at Columbia sure looks like a swell job.

Basically the old-style mob “no show” job. Kickbacks to the “family” no doubt.

If (when) Trump wins, we’re going to need to appoint ambassadors to the blue states, because they’re definitely not part of America. Or, just cut off diplomatic relations with them. I kind of favor that one.

Yes, that would be perfect as her family has a rich history there, pun intended. Make her ambassador! Perfect, and bipartisan!

These jobs have always been presents for donors and the connected. It doesn’t put her anywhere higher on the ladder, and may keep her out of trouble.

Still, England and France are actually strategic G7 allies. Better to give her something smaller, but still pleasant ... Luxembourg or Lichtenstein.

Yeah, because hiring dopey Chelsea will really help with their “We’re not weird, YOU ARE!” campaign.

I read it and “Kenya” immediately popped into my mind. On 2d thought, perhaps Lichtenstein. However, politically, perhaps Iran or North Korea.
