What is being called a “lack of emotion” is a symptom of Parkinson’s Disease called hypomimia. It is the lack of visible facial expression of emotions, not the lack of emotions themselves. There’s a disconnect between what somebody feels and how their face looks. It is a symptom of Parkinson’s. Joe has Parkinson’s Disease.
