How do they replace Harris with anybody else, if the delegates have voted for her? I don’t understand. Doesn’t Obama risk having everything blow up in his face if another candidate with delegates gets removed? Or will Harris suddenly drop out throwing the convention open. But even this is instability that the country will see.
So the states where they couldn’t switch kammy in and Joe out would still have Joe on?

This is what it’s beginning to look like. 3 1/2 months is like a camera flash in the lawyer’s world. I don’t see how they can get Joe Blow off and Harris on and fight all the legal battles that will take.
If Obama is letting this be known because he’s maneuvering for his candidate Michelle, there’s really not much time before August 1st. But if he wants to buy time, perhaps a surprise naming of Michelle as Kamala’s veep candidate on 8/7?
From there, it is a very long way to November or even January.

Well, this didn’t age well.
Although Obummer may have simply found no other alternative.
Her steep climb (this is already 4 weeks old) is nothing more than a media-generated “sugar rush” , as it’s been described, photographed from every available angle, still dutifully straining to counteract the negativity that’s building from even more angles, among Trumpers, and the population in general.She won’t come close to winning, and the popular vote for Trump will be staggering. The truly regrettable thing will be that she WILL get millions of votes.
I liken it to McGovern. Liberals loved McGovern, but everyone else, not so much.
