I think even regular democrats are really tired of the ‘Hollywoodized’ democrat party.
He’s been getting hounded for a month and forced out of the race, now the narrative is that he has acted so selflessly and of his own free will to just freely and willingly step aside, unlike the selfish Trump who is bent on destroying democracy.
That’s the memo that has gone out - multiple Democrats / media pundits making the same statement.
He’s not wrong. I am not impressed with the Vance pick. Trump may have peaked too early. An early debate may end up costing him the election. I’m not convinced he’ll will.
