Me too. Saw it live on a GE b/w.

Boy Ted β€œThe Orca’’ Kennedy sure was happy.

The landing took Chappaquiddick right off the front page.

"Plumb"-ing is why Pb is the symbol for the element lead

It's also a handy excuse to post the alchemy-made-simple secrets of the universe intel!

Did Ben Frankin know a thing or two, or what?

Everyone's been having a lot of fun today on the Moon and Full Buck topics, so

How to obliterate the natural forces that say rarity determines value? (I'm on the thread topic, just a little background info first though.) The real conundrum of the ages is how to convert masses of lead (or other common metal) into gold without the gold plummeting in value just on general principle.

All the best minds in the business... are everything we've come to expect from years of government training. They've been 'working' on it.

Yet more than a couple of years ago, a few determined Patriots with brews in-hand got to thinking, that

...unlike a monarch in the mold of all the other nations, a Can-Do king on every corner is infinitely more valuable than the some self-important yahoo sitting on his throne barking out orders, dependent upon everyone else for his needs. Sad! That poor fellow is basically worthless, just on general principle. He never outgrew his high chair.

The first account of the story was recorded by McHenry on the last page of his journal about the Convention. The entry, dated September 18, 1787, reads: "A lady asked Dr. Franklin well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy -- A republic replied the Doctor if you can keep it."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Willing_Powel#%22A_republic_..._if_you_can_keep_it%22

That's right. A republic --- if you can keep it a secret:

A REPUBLIC

What do you know -- America the Beautiful, conceived in a [Green Dragon] pub of all places. She's definitely a πŸ—οΈKEEPERπŸ—οΈ.

For some odd reason, that's this year:

Yang-Wood, the element for this new Year of the Dragon, is connected to trees, forests, or wooden posts. You'll see a lot of dragons up trees or wrapped around posts in new year imagery this year. According to the Chinese Five Elements theory, the colour of Wood is associated with green.

https://yoyochinese.com/blog/2024-unveiling-year-green-dragon

And now here's the weird thing that hooks this all up with Apollo 11's 'scapin' gravity (Obey Gravity -- It's the Law):

Apollo 11 lifted off on July 16, 1969, the 24th birthday of the Atomic Age. July 16th in non-leap years is the 197th day of the year.

It's a day truly worth its weight in gold.

Time flies when you're having fun, and can you believe it? The Atomic Era, born on July 16th, 1945, just turned 79!

What next? The revelation of the Messiah? Immanuel [Χ’ΧžΧ Χ•ΧΧœ] = 197 "GOD with US" πŸ€”

(That might annoy somebody, just on general principle.)

The scarcity principle states that the scarcer something is, the more we tend to value it. This is not only an economic principle, but also a powerful behavioral bias, where our brains create an equivalence between the value of an item and its level of rarity or unavailability.

All the best minds in the business... are 'working' on it. πŸ˜‰

55 Saves Lives!

(/just a little weather experiment)

Chris Christie and Whoopi Goldberg are all in.
They’re going to moon the national tv network cameras.

Plumbum was the Latin name for lead. That’s why the symbol is Pb. That’s also the reason plumbing is called plumbing.

I’ve always wondered if the Roman name for lead was because they used lead for piping or as a weight in making a “plumb line” to make sure water ran downhill along the aqueducts and into the city fountains, baths, etc.
