Jared is on vacation with his pretty wife and brokered peace treaties. You’re out of your mind

Where have you been all these years? Have you not noticed all that’s been going on there?

I never claimed all Yemenis are Houthis, But they are Yemeni, and Yemeni are Yemeni. Honey Badgers all. I’d not ever mess with them!

Look at all the years the Saudis have been trying to blast them to smithereens with lots and lots of our help. And look now. Honey Badger Don’t Care.

I would never set foot in that country. Ever. And I’ve been to some very hairy countries in very hairy times with lots of bullets flying.

Now, I will admit they have (or had) some fascinating architecture I would love to see in person, but no way I’d set foot in that country.

Cheers!

<< Christians are about one-fourth of the population of Palestinians in Gaza. >>

It’s less than 1%, not 25%. You’re so full of shiite it’s coming out of your ears.

“As of 2015, Palestinian Christians comprise less than 1% of the population of the Gaza Strip.”

I didn’t say you said all Yemeni are Houthi. But to be frank, I sure would like to know why Yemeni defense seems to be implying it. And again, they are the aggressors here, with support from Iran of course.

Have you forgotten the USS Cole? This goes back even farther than that.

Of course support from Iran. Demographics is Destiny.

More nonsense. Christians are less than 1% of Gaza’s population.

I am going to make this very simple: until or unless there some nuclear- type thingie bobbie turns every grain of sand in Yemen into a nice glass parking lot for the KSA, the Yemeni (under whatever banner) will hate us and they will forever be Honey Badgers. It is what it is.

And now, for something entirely different, time to go pick up the pizzas!

Kind regards, and hope you have a nice dinner in store.

I saw videos of civilians cheering it. They don’t want the terrorists in their country.

I see them more like snakes than honey badgers, which eat snakes IIRC and are not acrimonious unless provoked.

Of course, given what Islam teaches about Jews and Christians (per the Koran, “the worst of peoples”), they are locked into that cycle of hate unless by miraculous fiat they’re broken out of it. Take care . . .

No quibble with your second para.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree about whether Yemeni are snakes or honey badgers.

In my experience, most snakes prefer to hide or run away. I once stepped on the tail of a 10+’ King Cobra in SE Asia. He went flying b off to the left and I went flying off to the right. It happened to be in a dead spot for our radios, so had he decided to bite me, I would have been one dead woman.

Meanwhile, dozens of white-lipped palm vipers were slithering above my head. I thought they were harmless emerald boas even though I was on the wrong continent for those, so I was blissfully unaware of the real danger I was in. I found out better a couple of weeks later.

Yemeni don’t just run away and give up. They are honey badgers and have proven it. Again, I personally would not mess with them (nor ould I mess with a honey badger or palm viper). You may feel differently.

You have probably been in parts of the world and had experiences I could learn from. That’s what FR used to be all about. Funny you don’t seem to want to research Yemen and learn, but rather prefer to dig in your heels and try to prove yourself right (based on what?). Well, that’s the internet I guess. Cheers!

Christians are one quarter of the population of Gaza? Where in the world are you getting such a number? Christians aren’t even a quarter of the population of Bethelehem anymore, having been driven out by Muslims. Are you just making this number up on your own or are you repeating nonsense first generated by somebody else?

TAQIYYA. Their religion gives Muslims the right to lie. Not one political word said by a Muslim can be believed.

Israeli fighter jets strike Yemen’s Houthi-held port city of Hodeidah, military says

Israel’s military confirmed Saturday that its fighter jets had hit Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah with air strikes earlier that evening, alleging that the port had been used by the Houthis to receive weapons shipments from Iran.

Democracies can't go scorched earth.

Therefore, democracies will never be able to completely eliminate terrorism.

It's like the drug war. Even for those in favor of legalizing most drugs, no one is in favor of allowing minors to take drugs or allowing drugs without some minimal level of taxing or regulation.

Therefore there will always be a profit motive for providing cheaper, less regulated drugs to adults and children and we will always have to deal with drug dealers.

Similarly, we will forever be dealing with terrorists. The idea that Israel can forever eliminate Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, etc. is ridiculous and self-defeating.

Eliminating it is one thing. Dis-incentivizing it is another. We can dis-incentivize it by making the cost of it too dear for a host country to bear, and also killing the terrorists a la wack-a-mole.
