I know there are drawbacks to spending a lot of time as a graduate student (see 2024 Columbia University newsfeed) but I want to say that my time reading Shakespeare has been really helpful in following the Democrat drama.
The Democratic Party leadership is at fault. They knew before the Iowa caucuses that Biden has dementia. They could have urged Biden to resign and encouraged other prominent Democrats to run for the nomination. They could have let the Dem voters decide who they wanted for their nominee. But, now with Biden behind in the polls and the seats of prominent Dems being threatened, the Dems all of a sudden are concerned about Biden’s dementia, and are using that as a reason to switch to a candidate that is likely to be more competitive with Trump, who they might be able to get away with cheating to get in.
The not so hidden message: “we have bills to pay!”
Do you think Joe even knows the memo was sent?
Unlikely, even if it were him that really did sent it, he probably would not remember it by now too many hours have passed
