Z needs a much wider conflict a conflict that clearly affects American interests in the region before the coming election, he needs the US to be waist deep in the conflict so that the new President cannot easily retire from the situation.

Because they might stop supplying them with weapons if they cannot trust assurances that they won’t be used as agreed.

If Russia succeeds because of NATO’s reluctance to decisively assist Ukraine then they may calculate that they can fight a limited conventional war that links up Kaliningrad with Belarus and swallow up the Baltics. If NATO then decided that they could let that go Putin would not stop until he was stopped.

I understand your domino theory. In cases of international aggression there’s always that possibility. However, some context is required.

NATO expansion is perceived as a very provocative national security threat to Russia. Make no mistake, we and other countries have our own red lines too. Think Cuban Missile Crisis, India and China clashes over border control and security issues, etc. Most countries are very sensitive to perceived threats and will not tolerate a threat right next door to them.

If NATO wants to step back from the precipice of a catastrophic war (which Europe is all too familiar with) perhaps it should first try to avoid the potential for expansion of the conflict and take NATO membership off the table to see if this can open the door to a negotiated settlement with Russia.

The willingness of some NATO countries to fight Russia and risk destruction is doubtful IMO. If their commitment was strong most of them would be more than willing to meet their annual NATO funding obligations, but they don’t. Russia see’s this as well. So maybe they should try to find a constructive way to resolve the Ukraine mess before it expands further.

Two countries run by corrupt thugs. Both working tirelessly to milk the US. Zalensky by the skim off his scam and Putin by his bleeding us dry.

What amazes me is how the NATO garbage won’t admit this is a proxy war.

Well duh, if it wasn’t Lil Cokehead wouldn’t have to ask for permission.

Yeah, the elites have well stocked bunkers. We aren’t invited to be safe from their own idiocy.
