Trump (and his family) have to be exhausted. From the horror and adrenaline rush of Saturday, to immediately flying to Wisconsin and shaking hands, multiple meetings, talking to all their friends and supporters, answering hundreds of phone calls, and then being “on” every night for four nights.
They all need a nice long massage and then a good night’s sleep.

Hope they get it too. If anyone ever deserved some uninterrupted rest, it's them.

OK, I’ve held off as long as I can, but let me join the chorus: You're just determined to be miserable, aren’t you? This speech has been pitch-perfect from the start precisely because it’s NOT just another speech. Nothing reaches people better than sincerity, a virtually non-existent quality in politics. For some weird reason you’re itching for a typical, insincere, off the shelf political speech. Sorry to disappoint you, but Trump isn’t doing that tonight, he’s just speaking to the American people from the heart, and that will be extremely effective. Just watch the results in the coming days.
Sorry to interrupt, now you can resume your incessant bellyaching.

Barron has two half-brothers and two half-sisters, but there's such an age gap between them. Even Tiffany has 12 years on him. He's more like an only child. And out of all five children, he bears the most resemblance to his dad.

Yes, I imagine all this has affected him differently.

President Trump might only have been glancing down for a moment to find his mark on the floor, but it oozes a solemnity of the moment during a larger context of grandeur.

This is the positive side of high-speed photography that can capture an instant like this and evoke an emotional response.

I don't know how that convention will compare to the Republicans' convention, but theirs is a platform of divisiveness and demonization of others.

 

It's worst than that - what you posted is a to-do/target list for authoritarian administration and despotic top-down rule, with no input or participation from the public wanted or tolerated. The stakes cannot be more stark than they are right now. A representative Republic or a criminal totalitarian regime. And I'm seeing a lot of vibes that the regimists aren't just going to pick up their marbles and peacefully walk away if they come up short.
