I dunno, he had a string of huge hits the past 2 decades.
School of Rock, King Kong, Super Mario Brothers, Jumanji and the Kung Fu Panda series.

The publicity company has already dumped Tenacious D.

I read that his insurance was an issue after the birthday wish statement. The insurance company dropped the tour. There probably is a clause in the contract about inflammatory statements.
Tenacious D is supposed to do a US tour this fall to Rock the Vote. We all know it will be a leftistfest. Hope they can’t find an insurer for those concerts, or the cost is too prohibitive due to their leftist proclivities.

You answered your own question...PAST.
I did enjoy the long past movie where he was .25 of the cast “The Holiday” which is nearly 20 years on.

Any movie or TV show with Black always ends the same for me. The guy isn’t funny. He’s an obnoxious pig. End of short tirade.

The only scene Jack Black did that I ever liked was the one with Bruce Willis in The Jackal.
I couldn't find a photo of it to post so this one will have to do instead

Super Mario Bros. was pretty recent, and a new Kung Fu Panda either just came out or is right about to.
