Reminds me of when I had just moved to Virginia from New York in 2021 and saw a streaming ad talking about how Glenn Youngkin was close with President Trump and they agreed on so much. I thought, “Wow, this Youngkin guy sounds awesome. I’m definitely voting for him” and then it turned out to be a Terry McAuliffe ad. Seems that the McAwful campaign figured an association with Trump was radioactive and linking the two would be enough. It sure was for me.

President Ronald Reagan is a hero to me. He made some mistakes, especially accepting the House BS with NO more illegals if he accepted those already here. He go buffaloed by the Speaker (can't remember the name).
But who could deny his loyalty to the troops, especially with an 11.7% raise during his first days? Then the ballsy guy put a stake in the heart of the Soviet Union with more military spending and the so-called STAR WARS. The Soviets couldn't keep up and the Berlin Wall fell.
I spent many years on Navy ships being chased by Soviet subs just itching to send me down. We went to official General Quarters many times. He ended all that through his determination, strength, and other attributes.
President Trump has similar strength and characteristics. Think the historic Abraham Accords that normalized relations between Israel, UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. Before those nations Egypt and Jordan had already come to diplomatic relations years before.
I would be if Biteme hadn't stole the election, Saudi Arabia would have joined the Abraham Accords. They were talking about it in their own circles and royalty.

I remember reading Time magazine on that and it proved to me as now, that liberals are “bat guano” crazy!
The Iranians had read all the ridiculous press about Reagan being “cowboy” and would be crazy enough to nuke Tehran into a glass parking lot!
They wanted good terms with the new administration so they let the hostages go just past the last minute of the Carter Administration!
Every cried “hurrah” when Reagan said”Our hostages are in the air!”
There was no “deal”. The Iranians were about to wear an asskicking and didn’t want to piss off RWR. They knew their abuses of Americans could only go as long as Carter was in office.
