I knew good and well when that group started banishing historic names that they intended to attack other Americans.
It happened just as predicted.
That’s nice, but it still shows the brass are the sort who will obey orders to suppress political opposition.

The name was changed in the wake of Saint George of Fentanyl by an illegal commission because Forts Bragg, Hood, Polk, Benning, Rucker, A.P. Hill, Pickett, Lee, and Gordon were named after *GASP* Confederates as a means to further unify the country post Civil War.

Both the Corps and Division commanders are pissed about this. And the dipsh*t LT or Major who created this slide with the hopes of slipping it under the radar is getting a career ending OER.
