Juicing him up doesn’t really help him unless he has a script. Without a script, it just adds anger to his confusion. He might make sense for his first few questions, but if the reporters are given the go-ahead to challenge him and shout out questions (like they do with Republicans) he will easily become confused and unhinged.

He is going to have the names of the journalists on a note card he will only call on those he already knows what questions they will ask him. I thought this was going to be an actual press conference, with Biden by himself answering questions from the media for an hour, not some foreign journalists who will give Biden pre selected questions

I am starting to wonder if they are rushing to make a decision BEFORE this presser.
I am shocked that President Biden’s press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre coined the phrase “Big Boy Press Conference” as that is incredibly condescending, insulting, and implies infantilization and disrespect towards the president.
It might be a repeat of the debate.
