He was Devin Nunes lead investigator on the House Intelligence Committee. Patel helped figure out who was doing what in the Russia-Gate mess. Patel is radioactive to the swamp dwellers. The Dems will do everything possible to remove him from any position of influence.
He is one of the top 3-4 people that Trump needs in the next administration.

agree with all you said - what is also impressive is he can recall details off the top of his head; no notes to reference and can keep track of the twisted trail that attempts to hide the criminals
