Once the uncivilized realize that the police are powerless, there will be no bounds to their disruptions. They will, eventually, come to a neighborhood near you. But, in the meantime, if you want to avoid the discomfort; you don’t go to the spaces they inhabit. I haven’t been to the Bay Area in years! What for?

It’s the Temescal and Rockridge neighborhoods in North Oakland, just a couple of miles from Piedmont. It’s a shame.
