Did I say I have respect for Cali? I’m born and raised here and lived here my whole life. I think I’ve earned the right to call it any damn thing I want.
And you can fluff off.
“Why do do you think Hawaii is so safe?”
Lots of crime in Hawaii these days, according to the news. And there are lots of illegals roaming the streets who are from South America.
Not being racist. That is such a overused term it is dismissed by intelligent people.
It is all about cultural. I know people that literally live totally off food banks.
They don’t riot when some criminal gets killed being arrested.
Blacks riot to get their way, like little kids throwing a fit.
Doesn’t work for me.
Another San Fransiscan getting what they voted for?
Hard to feel sympathy. Wish more white liberals got pushed in front of trains by the homeless, or the illegals, or the terrorists they let into the country.
Did you miss the part of my reply where I was agreeing with you? I know that realism is not racist, but it’s always called racism by the left.
Exactly. I have ridden BART trains since inception in the 1970's. In the beginning I would stand near the edge of the platform while waiting for the train (to get a good seat). As I got older I learned to stay away from the edge, and watch all around me. Too many crazy people nowadays. Powell station is weird. Lots of tourists and homeless. Worst are the Chinese women holding bags of Chinese food and vegetables that rush the doors of the subway train elbowing others who were waiting in line. But lately lots of lowlifes who presumably jump over the fare gates and are up to no good. I stay away from BART lately, preferring to drive into the city despite traffic and lack of parking (for mainly my wife's medical reasons). Don't be on BART alone.

Depends on the definition of civilized. Back then, in the 1960's and 1970's when a non-black got jumped by blacks, they would beat you but not kill you. I got jumped and beaten, as did my wife (before she met me), in the 1960's in San Francisco. The punches to the face hurt, and the black eyes looked bad, but we lived.
Now they'll mess you up bad and might kill you without hesitation (if you aren't armed).
Born and raised south of San Francisco, when Kalifornia was California, and Ronald Reagan was cherished.
Went to elementary school with every ethnicity, culture on Earth. We didn’t divide us up.
We are all Americans. The faces and names were from everywhere: Siri, Okamoto, Wolfnagel, José, thousands of Johns, Jims, Toms, Susans, Marys, and on and on. None of us were ‘different.’ We were friends, neighbors, acquaintances. We pledged allegiance to the United States Flag, and every four years we created a large display in every home room of how many gold, silver, and bronze Olympic medals were won by those very same Americans. We all remember where we were when Kennedy was shot (5th grade classroom). Most of us also remember the first time we heard the dulcet tones and booming voice of El Rush-Bo (when Rush Limbaugh started in Sacramento, KBHK was know as the Blowtorch of the West, 50,000 watts) In the San Francisco Bay area, Rush came in loud and clear from Sacramento. I was driving up Hwy 880, and heard Rush the first week he started. Listened every day.
Our dad fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam, mostly flying, but some ground combat. He was shot down twice, and, thanks to God and his stubbornness, survived and returned home to his wife and 7 children (Irish Roman Catholic). He lived long enough to hear Rush, and loved that we loved Rush also. Dad started his own business, mostly because he’d had enough of Generals giving him orders. He retired a Colonel. Business went up and down. We were never well off, but we had each other, and the promise of America. Get up every day, go to school, then work. Life will go up and down. Get back up and keep going.
We will not live to see it, but one day Kalifornia will be California again. That is the hope and promise of America.
PS.....Dad had an office on El Camino Real on the San Francisco peninsula. He loved to joke around, and found an absolute hilarious way to entertain himself, and others. He started putting single nickels and dimes on the sidewalk in front of his office. There was a large front window to view just who would pick up the coin. He determined that while not everyone would pay attention to the smaller coins, almost everyone would try to pick up a quarter. So.....he superglued a quarter to the sidewalk, and watched all the gyrations people would put themselves through to get that 25 cent coin.
Keep the faith, keep voting, and keep laughing. As Rush often said, liberals have no sense of humor, and hate that we do.
I’m on the big island.
That stuff isn’t tolerated here,
you will leave
nobody will miss you or investigate
if you misbehave too much.
So, Trevor is no longer homeless.
This happens every week in S.F., shouldn’t really be a story anymore.

How in the world did they get there? The Hawaiians don’t kick them out?
Trevor Belmont?!
How far the vampire hunter has fallen...
In all seriousness, it should be widely advised not to stand near the tracks and to stay as far back as possible until the last possible moment.
Or take private transport. Better yet, flee to somewhere safe.
Apparently the Biden administration has been sending the “newcomers” to many states throughout the country. I am sure that you are aware of this.
Horrible. Thanks for posting. Thanks for the picture of the innocent victim. Condolences to family and friends of Corazon.
Video released show children in a San Diego hotel that are being trafficked. There are so many retired military in San D, I thought it would make a difference.
I’ve only been in the Powell station twice. Biggest thing I remember is the smell of urine from all the homeless.
I’ve only ridden the BARF twice. No more will I do that, I’ll rent a car first.
Thankfully I have no more reason to go to the Bay area.
