“Coughed so much my lungs feel black and blue.”

You poor thing, that is pretty exhausting. Not to mention painful. I hope you feel better real soon

Thank you research queen! I love that about the lemon houses and now I want one. Hubby is going to be so pleased.

I have a lemon tree Mentor here, he’s the one that convinced me to get a little lemon tree. I’m going to print that out and give it to him.

You can tell what I've been looking up today. Just a bit of a fantasy, as Italy has no 2A. As in the uk, the police will probably side with the Invaders, leaving the Christians to the lions.

If we got that three house Villa compound, here is where we could shop:

and here are two examples of where we could eat, when Dolly and lysie don't feel like cooking

and here is what we could eat!

A bit of good news. Rasmussen says they’re lying.

In the late evening, as we're listening to the relaxing sound of the train tracks, the Trump Train staff is offering a nightly cup of coffee before retiring (when I remember). Decaf for those that want it. Or tea or a hot toddy.

I think I might have to pass on those plates of food.

If I’m going to Italy, it’s pasta, Baby!

It’s a bit more for me, but I wanted to support him when he first launched, and I like having access - looking forward to this. Tucker is well worth what is basically the cost of a few cups of coffee up here.

Now that’s a very good point! Pasta is my favorite. But my mother was from Trieste, and those pictures of calamari and fried fish brought me back. Of course all of Italy is near the sea so that could be had anywhere.

But we don’t have to limit ourselves and have just one course! Each of these courses would be a bit smaller than what we are used to here, since they are intended to be ordered along with other courses. You would never get a huge plate of pasta. Unless you order two!

Here is the breakdown of an Italian menu:

There are four standard courses, but you definitely don’t have to order all of them.

An Italian menu can appear completely overwhelming. Primi, secondi, cortorni, and dolce can make a meal seem never-ending. Luckily, you can pick and choose which courses you want, or you can spend a leisurely few hours enjoying them all; dining in Italia is all about doing it your way.

If you’re feeling a little daunted by what each course entails, here’s our cheat sheet for an Italian menu:

Antipasti: Antipasti consists of small dishes that can be shared or enjoyed as an amuse-bouche-style plate. Anchovies, olives, artichokes, and cheese are typical Roman antipasti.

Primi: Primi means “first” in Italian. It’s not quite a starter, yet not quite a main, primi dishes are usually pasta, rice, or soup.

Secondi: Secondi means “second” in Italian and usually consists of meat or fish dishes. Secondi is sometimes split into pesce (fish) and carne (meat) courses, with fish being served before meat.

Cortorni: Not a course as such, cortorni means “side dish” and usually makes up the vegetable side dishes to accompany your secondi.

Dolce: Simply translated as “sweet,” dolce is the dessert course.

Digestivo: An after-dinner drink to settle the stomach, digestivo is the ideal way to end your Italian meal.

Thanks for the info on Simone. While she is pretty much unbeatable and does some amazing things, I really miss the older type of gymnastics. Same with figure skating.

They’ve made the only way that people can win is to do one athletic trick after another. I miss the grace and fluidness of previous days. Of course, figure skating always looks graceful and fluid, that’s the nature of it.

Look at Sanne Wevers’ balance beam routine last year that got her a world championship gold:
https://youtu.be/IF7yPHW4wS4?si=PW4iXYoZikHtlOfr
She managed to win and look graceful at the same time.

And a very oldie but goodie, nobody could get more graceful and fluid than Nadia. It almost looks like a different sport.

As a side note, I read the balance beam competitors were a bit off because it was so silent in the arena. Watching these old routines, I get really annoyed listening to the floor music. But I guess the competitors get used to it and actually want it.

great!!

Although we need Tucker as a journalist, I’d also like to see him in the administration somewhere. I might have to learn how to use truth social eventually

” Rasmussen says they’re lying.”

No surprise there.

But it still could come out the same with all their cheating. We really need to get a handle on that. Some states have done a good job, nevada, Virginia, don’t know if that’s enough.
