There is a thread based on one x/twitter post that claims 1-2 minutes and it is followed by an immediate comment from CNN that this is false. Where do you see a 3 minute delay? I’ve tried searching and can find no collaboration for any delay.
I hope Trump announces his VP pick at the very end. And Vance or whoever is there. Fade to black.
What are they expecting to go...right?
That’s what I’d be worried about.
“1-2 minute delay so they can edit what is broadcast—e.g., cutting to Trump when Biden has a brain freeze or falls down.”
I was worried that I would need a barf bucket today. This is truly sickening.
Instead of “Man proposes; God disposes” substitute CNN. As they see themselves already.
THE “MOST TRANSPARENT” GOVERNMENT EVER.
“A core principle” LMAO. They wouldn’t know a principle if it poked them in the eye. Notice as well that they aren’t the least bit upset that CNN is trying to block fair use of the broadcast by independent streamers who want to livestream the debate along with live commentary; and also will likely demand copyright take downs of those people’s videos after the livestreams have ended.
UNTIL TRUMP’S AUDIO GOES OUT & HIS VIDEO FLICKERS INCESSENTLY
INTERESTING THAT BIDEN GROUP BUILT AN ENTIRE “REPLICA” OF THE CNN SET AT CAMP DAVID.
I sure hope they use a split screen the entire time. At least then we can try to lip read any off-mic responses and see their reactions.
I bet they need some sort of license.
Copilot
CNN, like other cable news channels such as Fox News and MSNBC, does not hold an FCC license. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) only provides licenses to local radio and television networks that operate over public airwaves. Cable news channels, which rely on subscribers and advertisers, fall outside the FCC’s jurisdiction. So, while CNN is a prominent news network, it does not have an official FCC license for broadcasting12. However, it’s essential to distinguish between over-the-air broadcast networks (like Fox Broadcasting Company) and cable news channels (like CNN). The former requires FCC licensing, while the latter operates independently of FCC regulation1.
They have applied to North Korea to be an approved propaganda organ.
;-)
“CNN is cable-only and does not need a broadcast license.”
You are correct. But every broadcasting company that carries CNN does have a broadcast license. My wife, who is a liberal and was in the media for over 20 years wanted to watch the sh*t show last night. I boycotted it because of CNN’s actions. Okay, I also didn’t want to lose 90 minutes of my life and miss a good nights sleep. My wife, surprisingly didn’t grasp the CNN’s exclusion of the WH press corps, for which for many years she was part of.
Needless to say but when I asked her how the debate went, she said it was a sh*t show and shouldn’t have wasted her time.
