I thought I read that both candidates would be seated at this first debate, is that true? If so, why would Trump agree to those conditions? Best to make Biden stand for the 90 minutes and to have Biden do his little bend over when poopying his pants.
I like the idea about picking X number of questions. The way I would do it is one question on any topic and they submit a question for each topic on the list of topics for that debate. The moderator must ask the any question topic and one of the topic specific questions from each candidate.
Perhaps he fancies himself the Bruce Lee of rhetoric and debate. Perhaps he is. Too late to back out now. We’ll just have to see. His comportment in that restaurant showed he has a very fluid, flexible mind, and a sense of humor that we already know he has. We’ll see how that translates inside the steel cage of a CNN lynch mob.
Trump will do it for the fun of it.

This in fact would be preferable to some extent than all together chickening out at the last moment and not showing up… The Dems will have an absolute field day with it and by then will just scoop up a huge gob of independents and middle swing/swing state voters who haven’t even made up their minds yet… They will indeed make TV ads on “Trump quite cowardly backing out” Mark my word. One thing Americans don’t like is a quitter… Someone who backs out of a boxing match etc.… It’s humiliating and it runs counter to our blood
