You missed where I struck “men’s” and replaced it with they-them team.
Also, NCAA Men’s Basketball points leader Pete Marovich achieved his record in 83 games in three years vs 139 in four years for Clark, and without the three-point shot.
That said, Clark is as good as it gets in the NCAA or WNBA.
“You missed where I struck “men’s” and replaced it with they-them team.”
No, didn’t miss it. Except for all but three players in the WNBA, male or female, those being Xu at 6’ 11”, Hatar at 6’ 10”, and Griner at 6” 9”, the average height of the entire NBA at 6’ 7” is taller or equal to the players in the WNBA that includes the guards.
But height doesn’t mean when you consider the body pushing in US pro basketball. The largest wide body player in the WNBA is Alissa Pili at 235 pounds. But she’s only 6’ 2”. The average weight of players in the WNBA is just over 170. Small potatoes in a key in the NBA. That size doesn’t go in there. (Danger of being trambled) And strength is absolutely no comparison. Totally different body. You could not put an WNBA team against the NBA and/or combine the leagues and be competitive. The men are too big, too fast, too strong, and too violent for the women.
