Very true. We have a few here even in Florida. But they can’t do much but yell and scream since they are very overwhelmingly in the minority by republicans.

Texas is an interesting case. The libs are moving to Austin, Dallas and Houston. The conservatives are moving to rural counties. I have met a lot of California refugees that are hard core Trump supporters that have kids and wanted to get them out of Krazyfornia.

It’s all good. Only the taxpayers are leaving.

SOMEbody is buying up the houses being sold in California, often at amounts MUCH higher than other metro areas in the country.

It couldn’t have anything to do with government run public schools in Texas producing millions of newly indoctrinated young leftist voters every single year. Like what happens in every state...It must be California.

“ The state could lose as many as five more in 2030.”

No they won’t. The Dems will do whatever is necessary to see that every single illegal alien is counted in the next census AND that they be counted for the purpose of apportioning congressional seats.

It’s always been about that.

It’s foreign nationals with $. They’ve been flooding into CA for years. Chain immigration. If not for them pouring in the real-estate market would probably tick down quickly. 20 years ago going to the store in S.CA was like going to the U.N. Cafeteria where everyone hates the U.S. and votes against us as a matter of routine. The state and federal government did a number on CA. What is was isn’t coming back, ever.

I fear you may be wrong about that. Democrats are well known for exporting their voting base to change the demographics of red states. They’ve been doing it for decades. And they will enthusiastically pull up stakes to support their ideological deity.

With its population of foreigners California will become a very foreign state

This^. It's not depopulation. It's replacement.

I just hope Texas ca. hang on with more MAGAs moving to the rural areas than liberals moving to Austin. I think abbots desire for more businesses to come to Texas may be good for economy. But I wonder about longer term politics.

Look at Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado. These were all reliable red states until Californians showed up. They are working on other states like Texas.

Otherwise known as "Kalifornication".

I’ve read where the deranged California legislature has been trying to devise a scheme to tax you after you move from the state. Once a Californian, always a Californian.

Not in my neighborhood. Every California refugee I’ve met is a conservative. Only 15% of new arrivals are registering democrat. 75% are registering as Republicans.

Thanks, I need them (I've got a knee that's giving out).

Do check out that picture book. There's a LOT of information there.

California west Coast is like a huge pustule loaded with virus and bacteria. When it explodes is sends the virus to other states and infects them. Colorado has been Californicated, now they are moving in on New Mexico.

They’re not like locusts; they’re far more like cancer cells metasticizing into healthy areas of the body politic. After all, their appropriately (but clearly unintentionally) self-described “progressive” movement is very much like the “progressive” disease of cancer which, unless stopped or destroyed, can be fatal.

That’s not good news for the destination states and cities. Californians bring prices and politics. And they don’t know how to drive in the snow.
