Or maybe the transcript and the audio is classic Biden but tolerable and there’s other audio out there they are more afraid of and don’t want to set a precedent.

I would love to hear the argument: “We only waived the privilege for the edited and fabricated transcript that we released, not for the actual interview.”
Maybe it needs to be kept secret to not compromise an ongoing investigation. Oh, wait, we already assured the subject he would not face any charges. But we are prosecuting Trump! Yeah, that’s it!

He’s also a talented attorney. He served during the Reagan administration, ending as Chief of Staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese. After a couple years in private practice he joined Landmark Legal Foundation where he eventually served as President and I believe is currently CEO. Don’t think he’s active since becoming a broadcaster and author.
