>>”Donald J(esus Christ) Trump is simply being petty and vindictive here. Bob Good doesn’t get into Heaven now, because he “came to (Jesus) too late”.

Those are your words not Trump’s, mine or those of any Trump supporters’ on this thread. Rather petty of you to be so bitter because Trump endorsed someone you don’t like.

How dare the leader of the party and presumptive nominee endorse someone you don’t like. You’re the gold standard after all. It’s amazing that Trump’s been as successful as he’s been while ignoring your sage advice.

I’m not sure what McGuire did to support McCarthy. The article doesn’t specify. It just says it was a point of contention.

If McGuire is STRONG AND SMART...we need him.

If Good is backing Trump instead of DeSantis, as he did, and he is STRONG then that’s Okay too.

“Bob Good is a Carpetbagger from Wilkes-Barre.”

LOL, right.

Did you skip the part of his bio where he’s been a resident of Virginia since 1974? Or is that still insufficiently pure?

Bob Good has a solid voting record and is Chair of the Freedom Caucus. He is one of 20 or 8 who stood against the future debt and McCarthy. He is one of the most conservative member of the House and anti-RINO.

John McGuire, aka the “Brick,” has run in five races in six years. He has not worked with his communities, conservative Republican (in Virginia House and Senate), passed no substantial legislation, and even promoted ERA ratification his first House term (his brother's wife is a wacko lib Hollywood actor). The Brick announced his campaign in the 5th CD Republican primary one week after he won his 10 CD Senate seat - after pledging he would serve his full Senate term previously. All the conservative Republican leadership and elected officials in the 5th CD support Bob.

The Brick got President Trump's endorsement because he sucks up to anyone above him constantly (always in campaign mode) and his former 7th congressional district Republican campaign chairman was Chris LaCivita - who is President Trump's right hand campaign man. He is also fully supported by the McCarthy group including the Newt.

I'm very pro Bob Good and President Trump. The Brick signifies what is wrong with candidates and the Republican UniParty.

This is more about Chris LaCivita than President Trump. Bad advice passed up. Chris ran the Brick's 7th CD Republican (losing) campaign.

The Brick is Strong - for himself. He is not Smart...

Good is a solid conservative. One of the relative few in the House. He should be reelected.

“Where’s the serious movement to, actually, convert those practicing RINO Republicanism to practicing Conservative Republicanism, instead?”

An excellent question.

“Another brilliant personnel decision from the master of 400-D chess”

Yes, Trump did a lot of really good things in his first term, but his picks for subordinants and candidates were often lousy. I was hoping it would be better this time around.
