Without knowing how independents felt *before* the trial this is meaningless. It could have been 60% thinking, just due to indictments, that he should have ended his campaign. Now it’s only 52%.

Its amazing... last week I was just reading Trump was killing it with the independents- most of them knowing the eventual outcome of the kangaroo trial would be guilty. But ABC now says they want him to quit? lol.
Which has been the democrats plan since Trump took office. Create hysteria every day with lies, chaos, investigations, impeachments and eventually people will just want him to go away.

Lies. I don’t believe it.
They also hold absurd positions. One person, with whom I no longer communicate, was very proud of his status as a middle of the road independent thinker. However, all of his independent thoughts veered left. He said the homeless are a net positive for the litter problem in our town because they pick up cans. He discounted the possibility that COVID deaths might be overstated because of CDC instructions regarding death certificates and other factors based on a single conversation with a cardiologist.
