It doesn’t matter who they nominate. They will get the usual 1% or less and make no useful contribution to the process. Of course they always have the capacity to abort a local election somewhere.

I understand what you are saying, but they have to be nuts to look at their history long party position on immigration for example and think that rational people could ever call that rational, and that goes for other of their whacked out positions, the LP is irrational.

I used to work with an Air Force captain who was a “card carrying nut style” Libertarian. Very very anti-government almost anarchist, had a graduate degree in computer science paid for by USAF. (Maybe the anarcho-politics came with the degree!) Didn’t see the hypocrisy of his political positions vs how he acquired his degrees & how he got his paycheck. I guess he balances out the Socialist Party Navy officer I had to work with. I’ll say this again through my career of working on DOD projects I was always surprised about the number of leftwing officers that I met.

*Chase and current LP? The most they’ve gotten was around 3% Nationally and they won’t even break 1% this time.*

Ok-so Trump will SHAVE off 2% of them-like napalm in the morning-victory.
Even if it’s 1% doesn’t that help big-time?

Trump will likely shave 2.75% of that.

If the LP even makes it on the National ballot, it’ll be a miracle.

If they are going to jettison principles, small government, and rational thought? Then they have devolved to a point of complete irrelevance.
