Let’s all take a deep breath.
Fetterman is the junior senator in a state that has:
- a disorganized Republican party that hates its base
- little meaningful Muslim influence in Democratic party politics
- a Jewish governor with national aspirations and firm control over the state party machinery.
despite his oafish appearance, cluster B wife, and history of brain damage, Fetterman is no dummy. Doing the “right” thing is politically expedient for him right now. If he abandons that position six months from now, it won’t be because of principles, but because of a change in what helps his future goals most.
“It’s only because he’s a Dim. There’s many more stronger supporters that are Repubs.”
I take this as a win for Fetterman and the Republicans. It shows that Schumer and other liberal Democrats are leaning more towards the Palis than the Israelis. If I were in the RNC, I would target Fetterman as someone who could switch parties and be useful to Republicans. I was hoping that could be done with Manchin and a couple of other Democrat Senators.
It is telling that Shumer isn’t getting jack. Rightly so.
