I have members of my family living in America, France and Scandinavia. I spend my life traveling non-stop between those parts of the world and know perfectly well the different political systems and how they work.

Evidently, everyone knows that Trump, right now, has zero responsibilities within Congress or the White House.
But that doesn’t mean Trump is lacking political influence. Right?
Actually, Trump’s political influence (behind the curtain) on the Republicans in Congress is absolutely MASSIVE. They know Trump will most probably be reelected, thus they don’t want to do any political moves which Trump would not get along with... knowing that it would ruin their comfortable existence and reelection chances. Making Trump in anyway unhappy, is not an option for them.

If Trump had not given his secret and political go-ahead to Mike Johnson during that high-stake Mar-a-Lago meeting, Johnson would not have presented the 90 billion dollars Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan bill for an up or down vote. Period.

You know this.

“ Russian Government TV has been threatening America nearly every day now for about two years...”
*****************************************************************

When those American underseas natural gas pipelines and underseas internet cables were destroyed you knew they meant business and were a credible threat to American interests. /sarc

By the way, Frenchie, you’re sounding VERY, VERY FRENCH today. We all know that you want what’s best for America. /again sarc

PS … How many square kilometers have the French No-Go Zones expanded this pat week?

Nonsense. There are maybe 10 pro-Trump Senators and maybe 20 or 30 Trump Congressmen. The rest are treacherous RINOs that hate him.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You said there are 30 or so pro-Trump Congressmen (way more are actually influenced by Trump)... but very well, let’s go for that number for the sake of this conversation.
Then you agree that Gaetz is one of those 30 pro-Tumpists. Right?
And what did Gaetz do? He started a long and painful process to forcibly get a pro-Trump congressman as speaker of the House : Mike Johnson.
And then, what did the speaker of the House Mike Johnson do?
He had a meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago... and a short moment after that Mike presented the Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan Aid bill for a an up or down vote.

This is Crystal clear. They are true Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan supporters.
And that is excellent, I approve.

To: Bob Wills is still the king

“Or, we could just repudiate it. We could also nationalize all property owned by Russia, China, etc, since it can’t be moved.”

************

Repudiation would make us deadbeats. Nationalization is thievery.

Money avoids going into people and places with those kinds of history. It gravitates to stability and reliability.

We have become an irresponsible and undisciplined nation. Unfortunately the voters reward and encourage that kind of behavior.
