Those tax cuts were probably the most important achievement of his tenure. What was annoying is he had to approve of the Republican spending budget to get those cuts. Still worth it, but man how is the GOP any different than Democrats?

You just answered your own question in your post. We would not even get a tax cut from Congress had Democrats been in Control. There’s the difference right there, albeit a small difference, but a difference nonetheless.
