I still encourage bright and energetic young folks to enlist or go ROTC.

We need them. Our fine country is facing potentially dark international times. We need a strong and capable (and reliable) military.

And, with few folks staying in, making upward rank might be a bit easier.

You are correct.

Anyone willing to totally disassociate themselves from any conservative positions and beliefs certainly will find promotions easier.

They will have a bright future if they completely abandon traditional American values and sign on to the far left’s radical, pro-gay, extremist Marxist positions.

Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg

They had to capitulate to the far left, as General Bragg was a Confederate general.,,,hence the name change.

It’s still Bragg. It will always be Bragg. “Liberty” is for the people who have shit for brains.

FYI,,,Fort Cavazos used to be Fort Hood.

The Army changed (again capitulated to the far left) that one because there were no bases named after Hispanics.

The military has become totally infected and corrupted by DEI,

The military is not going to regain the trust they lost when they mandated the Jim Jones Jab for military members - while Congress exempted themselves and illegal alien invaders from the same illegal diktats.

Who would start down that path knowing they can do it again?

Who would risk their life for globalists?

That was when merit counted for something.

Here is a perfect example of why I don’t recommend the military anymore...last night watching a rerun of the weakest link. Twins were competing. Among the contestants was a pair of gays dressed in pink suits with face makeup and high heel shoes. One of them was an active duty sailor who regaled the audience with a story about how he won a talent show ON BOARD HIS SHIP where he dressed in drag. The guy? Had lipstick and eye makeup with ear rings and showed off his pointy high heel shoes. THAT is why I don’t recommend the armed forces to anyone! Retired Navy E-8 here.

It’s only a matter of time until the military renames another base after a trans soldier!

I’ve read that there are a lot of military age folks crossing the border who will be able to fill the gap.

Shocking headline.

“Fewer”? Really? It’s above zero? Shocking.
