Once again, Governor DeSantis leads the way:
“Florida Law Enforcement Recruitment Program Draws New Law Enforcement Officers from All 50 States”
I applaud what Gov DeSantis is doing in FL, but is the cost of living wasn’t so high there it would indeed be the ideal spot to retire. But my daughter and son-in-law moved from FL last year because of the cost of living there was thru the roof. Bring that down and FL will be the destination for a lot more folks.
Easy money. No crime in Wy. Everyone’s got guns.
I hope law enforcement retirement plans are easy to move around on a national level. There would be plenty of movement.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
N NEvada-—LYON COUNTY—has good officers.
POPULATION is growing.
I Live here.
I do not know the budget for the county LEO’s, but IF anyone might be interested-—
County seat is YERINGTON.
Cost of living here not bad.
Can give more info to anyone interested.
After I retired last year I thought about checking out Wyoming as a possible retirement location.
Just like every other state some areas are more expensive than others and I’ll give you an example.
The house next door to me was just purchased by a lady moving here from the Miami area......sold her home there for around $800k and paid cash for her new house here in northeast Florida.....the house here was not much more than half what she sold her house in south Florida for.
As far as cost of living goes.....last time I checked, there were 1500 people A DAY moving here from other states.
I’ve been thinking about moving to Wyoming as well. Move there and be surrounded by nobody.
That’s a NET gain?
Sounds like an episode of Longmire.
The billboard in Denver costs $2,500 for one month and it will not be renewed. This is a discounted price - the standard price is about $8,000 per month. The person who sold the deal to Kozak told him he was unhappy with the Denver budget cuts so he gave Kozak a discount.
Free Market working
Every time I’ve visited my daughter in Wyoming, I’ve seen numerous people open carrying. Friendly, decent people with common sense.
Why are the people of CO allowing this to happen? WTF
One problem is Denver / front range cities full of leftist invaders from California, Illinois, NY, etc. Rural areas / small towns are generally much better.
40 of Colorado’s 64 counties reported registration rates that exceeded 100% of the eligible citizen voting- age population..The lawsuit filed in US District Court in Denver alleges the current Colorado Secretary of State - Jena Griswold - failed to clean up its voter rolls in compliance with the National Voter Registration Act.. ~Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit.
Third - RINOs like Wayne Williams appearing in blatant political ads with Mohamed Enab’s wife - Jena Griswold.. funded by the taxpayers..
RINOs is the Colorado state house are happy with the Dominion Voting System introduced by Wayne Williams, former Secretary of State ..
Colorado has not had an honest election since mail-in ballots and same day registration was instituted.
Pretty much!
I hear ya, and I've heard the same thing. All I know is that someone like me, who barely nets $2100 a month, could never survive down there. I'm still waiting on SSA disability claims to process, and the VA has turned down disability claims several times now (bunch of traitors), but I doubt I could ever survive, monetarily, down there.
If people who make more than me can survive, more power to them.
Plenty of places that’s common. You don’t have to go to Wyoming.
my daughter and son-in-law moved from FL last year because of the cost of living there
Other than homeowners insurance, depending on where you live, costs of living are much less in Florida compared to most poaces. If you are living coastal SW Florida, real estate iss going to cost more because of increased demand. There are still pockets of Florida oasis, but you have to look for them.
